At the Mountains of Madness by HP Lovecraft
Adda: Horror, suspense, and anticipation are all described by words in this f**king awesome science fiction book.
BW: It's nice to see how authors used to write before modern day mindless violence.
Two Pennies Up
To the Stars by Thomas C. Stone
Adda: A great science fiction novel that blends corporate influence and scientific research.
BW: I like the combination of 3 species in one story.
Two Pennies Up
Children of the Mind by Orson Scott Card
Adda: Science fiction, humanity, the self, and physics all rolled into one.
BW: This book made me give a crap about Peter Wiggin.
Two Pennies Up
The Abyss by Orson Scott Card
Adda: You get to witness the author's growing pains from
Ender's Game
to
Ender's Shadow
with this book.
BW: I waited for the book to be good, but then I fell asleep.
